CARTOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF INCOME LEVEL IN IRAQ 2023

Abstract

The income level and its importance and great effects on the strength of the state in all its forms come at the forefront of global and local studies, as the study addressed the topics of unemployment and poverty as one of the economic indicators related to the income level indicator and its clear and direct impact on it, as it relied on a cartographic analysis of the levels of unemployment and poverty in the governorates of Iraq using data represented by tables, charts and maps based on the symbols of cartographic representation (point, area, linear) by adopting the variables of color, direction and area, while the second topic dealt with the cartographic analysis of the income indicator based on the cartographic representation with symbols and charts of the data related to the income indicator and the average income for the individual and families in the governorates of Iraq, as these indicators were analyzed quantitatively and the directional values were predicted according to the years of study related to unemployment and the average share of the individual from the national income according to the two methods (ordinary least squares and the method of quasi-averages).
