Abstract

The study of contemporary historians is considered one of the most important historical studies in that it reveals an important episode of the nation’s intellectual heritage, as it identifies the features of Arab-Islamic history, and thus this study establishes the historical research method.
The importance of this study comes from the fact that Al-Amiri is one of the most prominent historians in the modern era, as this research sheds light on the biography of the historian Dr. Muhammad Bashir Al-Amiri, and the approach he followed in his book “The History of the Country of Andalusia in the Islamic Era,” in addition to the scientific efforts he made in the field of writing research.
