SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO CRITICAL THINKING AMONG FOURTH YEAR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

Intelligence is a term that includes mental abilities related to the ability to analyze, plan, solve problems, build conclusions, act quickly, think abstractly, collect and coordinate ideas, pick up languages, and learn speed. It also includes, according to some scholars, the ability to feel and express the feelings of others.
The current study aimed to measure the relationship between social intelligence and critical thinking among fourth year middle school students and to know whether there is a relationship between social intelligence and critical thinking. The researchers used tools to collect data, which consisted of a questionnaire consisting of two scales, the first is social intelligence and the second is critical thinking. The researchers used the (spss) system to analyze the data for the study.
