Abstract
By the end of 2018, the fourth term of President Bouteflika was about to end, and no real intentions emerged indicating that the actual authority had the desire to change its approach, and there were many doubts that the president does not rule, and that there are those who rule in his name, and as a result of the low economic situation, as it was The budget suffers from severe deficits, the exchange reserves are eroding, and the purchasing power of citizens is lost as a result of raising taxes, which created the atmosphere for massive protests that included several parts of the country. This phenomenon with a degree of civic awareness was demonstrated by this movement, especially the 2018 protests.
