CARTOGRAPHIC REPRESENTATION OF THE SPATIAL VARIATION OF THE CULTIVATION OF INDUSTRIAL CROPS IN THE DISTRICT OF AL-MUSAYYIB

Abstract

The multiplicity of the geographical map in general, and the agricultural map in particular, a language like any other language because it contains huge amounts of information, which works to explain and analyze the agricultural reality of the area whose data are to be represented.
This study came in three chapters, so the first chapter deals with the theoretical framework of the study, and the second chapter talks about the cartographic representation of the geographical factors affecting the cultivation of industrial crops in the study area, while the third chapter focuses on the cartographic representation of its area and the production of industrial crops in the study area.
The study found that the areas planted with industrial crops were concentrated in Naih, Alexandria, then Al-Musayyib Center, then Al- Hindiya Dam district. To (60 / dunam), while the cultivation of sunflower during the study period was concentrated in the
Alexandria sub-district.
