PSYCHOLOGICAL STABILITY AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO THE VALUES OF CITIZENSHIP AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Research Summary :
The current research aims to know:
1- Psychological stability of university students.
2 The values of citizenship among university students.
3- The correlation between psychological stability and citizenship
values among university students
4 Significance of the difference in the relationship between
psychological stability and citizenship values among university
students according to the variable sex (male - female)
5- The significance of the difference in the relationship between
psychological stability and citizenship values among university
students according to a variable Specialization (scientific - human)
For the purpose of verifying this, a scale of citizenship values
prepared by Al-Asadi was used, which was built according to the
definition of the British Identification Circle, which included (40)
items. An SADEQ measure of psychological stability was also
adopted, based on Rolomay et al. (1999), which included (35) items
(100) were chosen by stratified random method, and the results
showed: that university students have psychological stability, and
they enjoy a high level of citizenship values, and that there is a
statistically significant relationship between psychological stability
and citizenship values, and there is no statistically significant
difference according to the two sexes (male - female). and
specialization (scientific - human). In light of the findings of the
research, a number of recommendations and suggestions were
presented
