STUDY STRATEGIES FORMATION OF SMART CITIES IN IRAQ, BASMAYA CITY AS A SAMPLE OF STUDY

Abstract

Formation of smart cities in world countries consider from modern
methods that provide happy life of human in highly development in
technology information. Occur that’s by using modern techniques
in provide different services of human in computerized form with
development in the world. Formation of smart cities require group
from electronic techniques and loading with digital information
technology to enhance human life quality include health, transport,
marketing, parking and other necessary services of life. Iraq contain
basically characteristics to form smart cities like personnel wealth,
information technology and geographical location of it cities that
most lay on rivers border that provide perfect environment power
generation that consider nerve of life. All that’s application lead to
get of smart cities in energy development and benefit of water and
development economy and recycling of waste and better
communication. Basmaya city that designed by world hanawa
company from south korea may be become model of smart city in
nearly future which it contain ten thousand building units provided
with water network, electricity, schools, health centers, trading and
parking centers as well as future planning. Modern techniques in
Iraq help in achieved this smart city as found in world smart
cities.
