THE EFFECT OF THE MONROE AND SLATER STRATEGY ON THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE KURDISH LANGUAGE GRAMMAR SUBJECT AMONG FOURTH-GRADE SCIENTIFIC FEMALE STUDENTS AND THEIR INCLINATION TOWARDS THE SUBJECT

Özet

The current research aims to identify the impact of the Monroe and Slater strategy on the acquisition of Kurdish grammar among fourth- grade science students and their inclination towards the subject. To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher intentionally chose the fourth-grade literary students as a field for applying her experience. The number of sample members reached (64). Female students were randomly distributed into two groups, an experimental group that studied using the Monroe and Slater strategy and consisted of (32) female students, and a control group that studied according to the traditional method and consisted of (32) female students. The researcher rewarded the students of the two research groups in the variables (chronological age calculated in months, and the prior knowledge test The experiment took an entire semester. The researcher prepared an achievement test consisting of (30) multiple-choice and completion-type items. It was characterized by honesty and its reliability was extracted using the Pearson correlation coefficient, and its reliability coefficient reached (0.80). The researcher also prepared a tendency scale consisting of (20). A paragraph proving its validity and reliability, and when the results were analyzed statistically using the T-test, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference in favor of the experimental group that studied using the Monroe and Slater strategy over the control group that studied in the traditional way.
