SHARING ECONOMY AND THE OPPORTUNITIES OF REINFORCE SUSTAINABILITY

Özet

The sharing economy has an exponential growth curve over the last five of years, and has been the subject of considerable interest to stakeholders and policy-makers across the globe. Technology is pivotal to the growing concept of sharing economy. A number of sharing platforms have emerged individuals and encouraged them to share goods and services such as cars, houses, household products and services. The proliferation of smart phones has heralded a digital revolution to serve as a catalyst of growth. So that many commercial companies that are part of this economy have a multi-billion dollar market value, with growth rates above 25%. In this context the main objective of this paper is to provide an overview of the sharing economy, its benefits and challenges, its business models, and the contribution of this economic activity to the promotion of economic sustainable and growth. And to over view its future directions.
