KORKU KAVRAMI ve SİNEMAYA YANSIMASI

Özet

Sinema var olduğu günden beri insanların duygularını, yaşanılan dönemin toplumsal, siyasal ve ekonomik koşullarını perdeye yansıtmaktadır. Bu nedenle de insanın doğasında her daim var olan korku kavramı değişkenlik göstererek sinemada kendine yer bulmuş ve tüm dünya sinemalarında ilgi görmüştür. Korku türünün başlangıcında canavarlar gibi öğelerin kullanıldığı Frankestein, Dracula gibi Gotik yazın sanatından etkilenen filmler yapılmış olsa da, zamanla korkunun kaynağının “insanın kendisi” de olabileceği gerçeği, Teksas Katliamı, Sapık, Testere gibi filmlerin ortaya çıkmasını sağlamıştır. Gerek doğaüstü güçler gerekse insanın kendisi korku imgesi olarak sunulmuş olsun, temelde yatan sebep insanın ölümden ve ölüm sonrası bilinmezlikten korkması, bu korkuyu yenebilmek için bilinmez alanı tanımlaya çalışması korku sinemasının çıkış noktasıdır. Korku filmleri, kostüm ve makyajla, yaratılan karakterlerle, mekanın yaratmış olduğu korkuyla, sinemaya sesin eklenmesi ve teknolojinin gelişmesiyle birlikte yarattığı efektlerle izleyicinin bilinçaltındaki korkuları ortaya çıkarmış ve onlara yenilerini de eklemiştir. Korku sineması toplumların yerel inanışlarına göre de şekillenmiş, her ülke kendi inancına göre filmler üretmiştir. Japonya’da geleneksel intikamcı ruh inanışının etkisi ile çekilen Ringu (Halka)serisi gibi filmler, Türkiye’de ise İslam etkisi ile çekilen Büyü, Dabbe serisi gibi filmler bu tanımlamaya örnek niteliktedir.

Abstract

Cinema reflects the emotions of people, the social, political and economic conditions of the period in which they live since the day it was in existence. For this reason, the notion of fear, which is inherent in human nature, has found its place in the cinema with varying variance and has attracted attention in all world cinemas. In the beginning of the horror films, films such as Frankestein, Dracula, and other items influenced by Gothic literary art, such as monsters, were made, but the fact that horrible source could be "man itself" over time made the films such as Texas Massacre, Psycho, Saw. Supernatural powers, or human beings themselves are presented as images of fear, the underlying reason is the fear of the human death and death after death, and the work of defining the unknown field to defeat this fear is the starting point of the fear cinema.With horror films, costumes and make-up, with the characters created, fear of creating the space, sound added to the cinema, and effects created with the development of technology, they uncovered the subconscious fears of the audience and added their innovations. Horror cinema has also been shaped by the local beliefs of the societies, and every country has produced films based on their beliefs. Films such as the Ringu series, which were shot in Japan under the influence of traditional vengeful spirituality, in Turkey, films such as the Büyü and Dabbe series shot with the influence of Islam are examples of this definition.
