FEN BİLİMLERİ DERSİ YEDİNCİ SINIF “IŞIĞIN SOĞURULMASI” KONUSUNUN EĞİTSEL OYUNLARLA ÖĞRETİMİ: RENK OYUNU ÖRNEĞİ

Özet

Bu çalışmada yedinci sınıf fen bilimleri öğretim programında yer alan “Aynalarda Yansıma ve Işığın Soğrulması” isimli ünitenin “Işığın Soğrulması” konusunun öğretimi için eğitsel bir oyun tasarlanmıştır. Tasarlanan bu eğitsel oyunla soyut kavramların yoğun olduğu bu konunun öğretimine katkıda bulunulabileceği düşünülmektedir. Oyun devlet okullarında çalışan üç tane fen bilimleri öğretmeniyle yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatla yoluyla değerlendirilmiştir. Oyunun uygulanabilirliği hakkında öğretmenlerle yapılan değerlendirmelerin ardından tasarlanan oyun 14 öğrenciye 2’şerli grup oyunu şeklinde uygulanmıştır. Uygulamadan sonra ise oyunu oynayan öğrencilerden iki öğrenci ile oyun yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatlar yoluyla değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak tasarlanan bu oyunun “Işığın soğrulması” konusunun öğretiminde gerek öğretmenler açısından gerekse öğrenciler açısından uygulanabilir bir eğitsel oyun olduğu görülmüştür.

Abstract

In this study an educational game was designed for teaching the subject of "Absorption of Light" of "Reflection and Absorption of Light in the Mirror" unit in seventh grade science curriculum. The educational game is thought to contribute to the teaching of this subject which has got abstract concepts that are widely used. The game was assessed by a semi-structured interview with three science teachers working in public schools. Following the evaluation with the teachers about the applicability of the game, it was applied to 14 students in the form of pairs game. After the application, the game was assessed by a semi-structured interview with two students playing the game. As a result, the educational game was found to be feasible in the teaching of “Absorption of Light" subject both in terms of students and teachers.
